As a Junior Tax Accountant, you will build practical experience in tax preparation, client service, research, and teamwork. This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates, career changers, and candidates with up to two years of experience who are curious, dependable, detail-oriented, and ready to learn.
Responsibilities
- Prepare individual and business tax returns with guidance.
- Organize client documents and support federal, state, and local filings.
- Communicate with clients about information, deadlines, and basic tax questions.
- Research tax topics, learn firm technology, and collaborate on client engagements.
What Will Help You Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience; internships, part-time roles, volunteer tax preparation, and coursework are valued.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, technology, and Excel skills.
- Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, collaborate, and pass a background check.
- CPA progress, tax software experience, multilingual skills, or experience with diverse clients are helpful but not required.
