Summary
The ideal candidate is responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, assist managers and support junior staff, ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and provide advice and guidance to clients on financial matters.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex accounting activities and financial
- Analyses of General Ledger and Income Statements
- Train and mentor junior staff
- Perform variance analyses and prepare account reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statements
- File and maintain client records and adhere to client confidentiality policy.
- Update accounting knowledge by keeping current with best practices, with support of staff training
- Review journal entries of junior accountants to ensure accuracy
- Support managerial staff in administrative duties as it pertains to client services
- Coordinate more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departments
- Assist with financial and tax audits
- Performs other related duties as assigned (reports, analysis and review processes)

Qualifications
- 3+ years professional accounting experience, either in a public accounting firm or in a private corporate environment
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, math, business administration, or a related field
- English proficiency required and second language (multilingual) proficiency preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, on the phone, and in writing
- Previous experience with any accounting software preferred
- Proficient with IT and Microsoft Office Suites
- Applicants must be authorized to work full-time in the United States
